If a small chicken sounds like a lot you can also consider getting a half chicken!
These chickens are certified organic. This means they have been fed certified organic feed (much of which is locally grown in Armstrong) from the day they hatched! They spend their early days in the brooder barn, keeping warm with the help of heat lamps and away from predators when they are at their most vulnerable. After a few weeks they are moved onto pasture where their shelter is moved daily across our certified organic farm so that they always have fresh forage, and plenty of space to roam.
