A North Okanagan farm wedding venue with on-site accommodations
Plan a wedding that feels like a weekend away. Fresh Valley Farms is an idyllic farm just outside Armstrong, BC, and it has quietly become a favorite North Okanagan wedding venue for couples who love good food, open skies, and laid-back luxury.
Our farm setting and Mountain View Guesthouse give you a place to sleep, gather, and celebrate, all in one spot, just outside Armstrong. It is a peaceful, real farm setting for couples who want mountain views and a meaningful place to gather with the people they love.

A North Okanagan farm wedding venue
Fresh Valley Farms sits five minutes from Armstrong, on a fourth generation organic livestock farm. The historic Arts and Crafts guesthouse looks over grazing pastures, forested hillsides, and wide valley views, with multiple ceremony and photo locations on the property.
Past couples describe it as “magical,” “dreamy,” and “the perfect getaway to celebrate our wedding with our friends.” It works equally well for winter weddings with snow and a cozy fireplace as it does for long summer evenings by the pool.
This is a venue for couples who care about land, food, and the people they gather.

Stay together on the farm
Your wedding venue rental includes our historic Mountain View Guesthouse. The guesthouse includes:
- Seven bedrooms plus attached nurseries
- Five bathrooms
- Chef ready kitchen with two ovens and two full fridges
- Large dining table and extra seating areas
- Two main living rooms
- Private pool and hot tub (seasonal)
- Study and flexible spaces for hair, makeup, or quiet breaks
With space for 8 to 15 overnight guests in the guesthouse, your closest people can stay on site for the whole wedding weekend. Many couples host a family barbecue or rehearsal dinner here, then use the house as a calm hub for getting ready, photos, and time together.

Spaces for ceremony, photos, and reception
The property gives you a variety of settings to work with, so your wedding day can flow without feeling cramped or staged.
Common uses include:
- Ceremony on the lawn with mountain and pasture views
- Cocktail hour on the terrace or near the pool
- Rehearsal dinner in the dining room or out on the patio
- First look under mature trees or in the garden
- Photos along farm lanes, by heritage buildings, or at the lookout
Many couples use the master suite as a bridal prep space, with the downstairs suite for the groom and attendants. This keeps everyone nearby, but still allows for a genuine first look and separate getting ready experiences.
Even on bright days there are multiple shaded or backlit locations that photographers love, which is why reviews often mention “countless photo locations.”

A wedding weekend that feels like a retreat
Couples often arrive a day or two before the wedding to settle in, unpack, and allow the group to relax into the space. Reviews mention:
- Rehearsal dinners cooked in the chef kitchen
- Children playing in hidden nooks and on the lawn
- Quiet coffee on the porch before the day begins
- Pool and hot tub time between events in summer
- Snowy walks and fireside games in winter
For stays of four nights or more, groups can also arrange a farm tour to learn more about the regenerative farm around them. Meeting the animals and hearing the farm story adds a meaningful layer to the wedding weekend for many families.

Seasonality for weddings
Fresh Valley Farms hosts weddings in all four seasons:
Spring: Blossoms in the garden, fresh green pastures, and cooler evenings. Ideal for smaller weddings that want a soft, early season feel.
Summer: Poolside afternoons, long golden evenings, and outdoor ceremonies with wide open views. This is a popular time for family centred weddings and multi day stays.
Fall: Warm colours across the hillsides, crisp air, and cozy indoor spaces. Many retreat style weddings and intimate celebrations happen in this season.
Winter: Snow on the fields, hot tub steam in the cold air, and the heritage house lit up and warm. Winter weddings here feel like a private country estate, with SilverStar and Sovereign Lake close enough for guests who ski.

House rules for weddings and events
To protect the farm, the home, and our neighbours, all events follow clear guidelines.
- Events require advance approval and an event fee
- Local bylaws dictate that noise and outdoor music must end by 10 pm
- Only registered overnight guests may use the pool and hot tub
- The property is for registered guests only unless hosts have approved additional visitors
- No pets, tents, or RVs on site
- Some areas of the farm are off limits for safety and to protect crops and livestock
We will provide a full list of house rules and event guidelines during the booking process. Most couples find that these boundaries support the relaxed, retreat like feeling of the property.
