At Fresh Valley Farms, we use a RovaBarn mobile barn system to help keep our laying hens on clean pasture while giving them shelter, safety, and easy access to feed, water, nest boxes, and roosting space.

How we process our eggs on the farm
We sell ungraded eggs only, which means the eggs are not sorted by size. Nature decides the mix. Each dozen may include a range of sizes, just as you would find when gathering eggs from a farm flock. What they lack in uniformity, they make up for in freshness and quality.
All eggs are washed, packed by the dozen, and handled with care to meet food safety standards while preserving their farm-fresh character. These are everyday eggs meant to be used often, whether you are baking, scrambling, boiling, or cooking simple meals that let good ingredients shine.

Raised on pasture
Our hens are not kept in a fixed barn all year. They live in a mobile housing system that allows us to move them to fresh pasture on a regular basis. This gives the flock access to new grass, bugs, and open air, while also helping us manage manure and pasture health.
Moved with RovaBarn
The RovaBarn is a mobile pasture barn designed for egg production. It lets us move the hens as needed so they stay on fresh ground instead of wearing out one area. This supports bird welfare, pasture recovery, and cleaner living conditions.
