The article focuses on our unique way of selling products in the Homesteader Box program, as well the ecological focus of our operations. .
And as the title notes, Steve is the fourth generation farming the original homestead of his great grandfather (and I’m the third generation actively farming in my family). .
We are incredibly lucky to be able to farm this land, and to have experienced farmers around to give us tips and advice.
That being said, the way we farm today is quite different from the farming that was happening twenty years ago in either of our families, and it continues to evolve. Always improving systems; for us, for the environment, and for our animals. .
