Some meals are about more than what is on the plate. They are about place, season, and the people gathered around the table.
On Sunday, July 21, 2019 we are hosting Dirt to Mouth, a long table dinner at Fresh Valley Farms in Armstrong, British Columbia. This evening is a celebration of farm food, cooked with care, and shared in the landscape where it was grown.

A meal that starts on the farm
Dirt to Mouth is a nose-to-tail dinner built around the pasture-raised meats grown right here on our farm. The menu will feature familiar favorites alongside lesser-used cuts that invite curiosity and conversation. These dishes will be paired with local, organic vegetables to create a meal that reflects the region and the season.
This is honest food. Thoughtful food. Food that tells a story from soil to plate.
A relaxed take on the long table
While we love the tradition of long table dinners, this evening keeps the focus where it belongs. The food comes first.
Expect a more relaxed, casual atmosphere than many Okanagan long table events. The setting is beautiful, but the goal is not formality. It is flavor. It is shared experience. It is time to slow down and enjoy a meal without distraction.
What to know before you come
The dinner will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Evenings can cool quickly, and a warm layer is a good idea.
Reduced-price tickets are available for children. There will not be a separate kids menu, so this event is best suited to adventurous eaters. Babes in arms are welcome and attend free.
