If you want something fancier than a fried egg we have ALLLL of the steaks available, and we have removed the limit on steaks, including ribeye. We once had someone order FIFTY ribeyes, which is when we implemented a per order limit so that everyone could get some of that absolute tastiness.
Steve and I are both pretty tired out at this point in the season, which coincides with employee holidays, putting a bit more workload on our shoulders while others are taking a [well earned!!!] break. One result of tiredness is that our culinary aspirations become a lot less creative. Last week when I was alone for supper one night I sauteed cabbage and scrambled eggs and then ate it all in a wrap. I love cabbage and I love eggs, but I really made a mess of that meal by dumping in salt, making no effort, and then eating it all anyways. Such are some of the nights of summer.
Last night was no such thing. Without a ton of effort (albeit with a bit of loving help!) we had a delicious rib supper. We had two packs of baby back ribs and one of spare ribs, and while they were both delicious I might even prefer the spare! So meaty and delicious. I pressured cooked them at lunchtime in an instant pot for 20 minutes, with ~250ml of water, and a generous sprinkle of thyme, dill, garlic powder, and parsley. Then I released the pressure almost immediately and then set them aside until later. They went into the oven at my mother-in-law (Robin’s) house where she painted on bbq sauce and let them slowly caramelize. They were some of THE BEST ribs I have ever had. We started with 6lbs for 6 people, and had at least one more meal for 4 people leftover. And that is after eating MORE than our fair share of those delightful morsels.

Once again, the bundle of eggs will be listed until we are past the glut of eggs we have found ourselves in.
Pickups
This week we are packing orders for Armstrong and Kelowna, but through a glitch in scheduling the ordering was closed for Kamloops (we are sorry!) but it is back up and ready now. Get your orders in for next week for home delivery in Vernon, pickup in East Hill Vernon, Kamloops, and Salmon Arm!
No matter which pick up or delivery option you choose the best time to order is always now, and ordering should always be open, so please shoot us a message if you encounter any challenges.
