We are excited to have our farm showcased on July 29, 2023 as a part of a local farm tour series held to raise money for a local Community Resource Centre! Come and visit Fresh Valley Farms and learn more about how we raise our beef, pork, and poultry on pasture as well as our recent integration of annual vegetable crops into the rotation.

Farm Tours
We will be covering a whole range of topics from our experiments with best management practices like no-till drilling, mulching, and silvopasture, to the installation of our new solar array, and our vertically integrated direct-marketing farm business. We will talk about how the business has grown and changed, and what keeps us motivated to find ecological solutions to adapt our farming methods to increasingly challenging weather patterns, and why we think continuous learning is so essential.
Tours of the farm will start at regular intervals at our 1345 Mountain View Rd location (see the volunteer and sign in the driveway when you arrive to find out when the next tour begins), and tours at 1476 Mountain View Rd will take place on an ad-hoc basis as there is less distance to cover at that location where we will be introducing an exciting new agri-tourism and accommodation aspect to the farm that will be open for booking later this season!
There will be time for questions and conversations, and hopefully this will serve as a platform to meet like minded people in the local community and beyond. Get your tickets and mark your calendar!
