Good food does not exist in isolation. Fresh Valley Farms is part of a wider community of farmers, makers, processors, and innovators who are all working toward better food systems.
Robson Valley Sheep Co.
All of the lamb we sell comes from Robson Valley Sheep Co., where sheep graze across hundreds of acres of certified organic pasture. Hanni and Teres Gasser have been raising sheep since 1988, using low-pressure, rotational grazing that supports soil health and animal wellbeing. Their lamb is 100 percent grass-fed, grass-finished, and consistently exceptional.
North Okanagan Butcher Hub
All red meat processing for Fresh Valley Farms is handled by our trusted butcher, Matt, through his own business, North Okanagan Butcher Hub. Matt originally trained while working at Fresh Valley Farms, including formal schooling at Thompson Rivers University. He now runs an independent operation specializing in beef, pork, and lamb. Red meat butchering is no longer done on-farm, and we are grateful to continue working with Matt in this next chapter.
Wild Antho Raw Honey
Fresh Valley Farms partners with Wild Antho, a third-generation beekeeping operation based here in Armstrong, British Columbia. Wild Antho produces exceptional raw, unpasteurized honey and provides essential apiary services that support healthy farms and resilient food systems across the Okanagan-Shuswap. Their hives are primarily located on organic farms and nearby wild lands, and their work reflects a deep respect for bees, land, and community.
Unearthed Organics Heirloom Beans & Corn
Unearthed Organics grows the heirloom beans and corn that stock Fresh Valley Farms’ pantry. Run by Jordan Marr (who you may know from the Organic BC podcast), Unearthed Organics focuses on flavour-first, small-scale organic production of dry beans, popcorn, and milling corn that are fully ripened in the field and sold fresh within a year of harvest. Jordan farms on leased land at Fresh Valley Farms in Armstrong, making this a deeply local partnership rooted in soil health, crop diversity, and keeping high-quality staple foods grown and processed in the North Okanagan.

Om Naturale in Armstrong, BC makes beautiful, practical soap for Fresh Valley Farms using our organic lard. This is nose-to-tail use done right, turning a traditional ingredient into a daily essential. We are proud to partner with the Corbetts on our body care offerings.

Operating on land ranched since the 1880s, they have transformed a traditional cow-calf operation into a diversified regenerative system. While we operate independently, we work with them through the Small-Scale Meat Producers Association and consider them trusted friends in the wider regenerative farming community.

Pilgrims’ Produce is an organic fruit and vegetable farm in Armstrong-Spallumcheen. Their Gumboots Farm Store stocks select Fresh Valley Farms products. It is open year-round and focuses on making it easy to shop local. Small-Scale Meat Producers Association
Fresh Valley Farms partners with the Small-Scale Meat Producers Association to support a stronger, fairer food system for family farms. SSMPA represents BC farmers raising meat outside the industrial model and works to remove barriers around processing, regulation, and market access. Their advocacy, research, and infrastructure projects help pasture-based farms like ours stay viable while improving animal welfare, environmental outcomes, and regional food security.
Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship Society
Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship works with landowners and communities to protect and improve wildlife habitat across the Okanagan and Similkameen. Their team provides habitat assessments, practical advice, and best management practices that help farms, ranches, and vineyards care for natural areas while staying productive. They also help deliver on-the-ground projects like native plant enhancement, shoreline fencing, and invasive plant management.
Young Agrarians
Young Agrarians (YA) is a farmer-to-farmer education network for new and young ecological, organic, and regenerative farmers in Canada, growing connections to the land and each other since 2012. YA supports new farmers through hands-on training, land access support, business mentorship, e-learning, and events that build real community. We partner with YA because the future of farming depends on more trained farmers who can access land and build strong farm businesses.
North Okanagan Organic Association
North Okanagan Organic Association (NOOA) certifies organic growers and processors in British Columbia, and has done so since 1989. NOOA supports small to medium scale farms with a straightforward certification process, farmer peer review, and a member-run nonprofit model.
